StalkerismNeil Gaiman linked his followers on twitter to this blog, which I personally think that that some fanbases in particular really need to see and absorb. The stalkerism that I have seen since begin to follow more recent bands of a certain genre has shocked and dismayed me to no end. Of course I was already aware that the paparrazzi overstep their bounds and that anyone can have a random obsessive fan, but I the sense of entitlement I have seen displayed here (and by here, I in no way refer only to S//C, which I do tell people is, for the most part, chockful of some very decent people, but more of the collective fanbase here) has left me ashamed to call myself a "fan" of anything anymore.
